Abstract

Experience is a crucial activity incontemporary teaching and learning. Experience isregarded as the process through which individualsacquire knowledge or skills by actively engaging inactions, observing, or perceiving objects,phenomena, people, etc., in the world through allsensory, intellectual, and emotional aspects thatimpact the subject within specific spaces and times.This article presents the content orientation ofexperiential learning activities in reading literarytexts, consisting of four main aspects: experiencingartistic language in literary texts, experiencing theartistic world in literary texts, experiencing thecreative process of literary texts by the author, andexperiencing the artistic message of literary texts inpractical life. These aspects help teachersaccurately determine the content of experientialactivities and help students achieve higheffectiveness in reading and comprehendingliterary texts.
