IMPROVE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF TEACHING HISTORICALCULTURAL KNOWLEDGE OF CONTENT LOCAL EDUCATION IN THUA THIEN HUE PROVINCE AT THE SECONDARY SCHOOL

Abstract
Local education is a mandatory subjectin the 2018 General Education Program. Since the2021-2022 school year, the local educationcurriculum in Thua Thien Hue province has beenimplemented at the secondary schools. However,its implementation has many shortcomings such asa lack of materials, teaching facilities, difficultiesin applying interdisciplinary knowledge, andteaching methods. Based on the analysis of localeducation content, particularly historical-culturalknowledge, this study proposes measures toimprove the teaching effectiveness of the HistoryCultural knowledge of local education insecondary schools. These measures includestrengthening the use of original materials inteaching-learning, promoting the application ofinformation technology in teaching, strengtheningthe organization of lessons in the field, andbuilding a dossier of teaching materials.
