Abstract

The VRapeutic virtual reality software is designed to support students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). With modules built on interactive virtual platforms, VRapeutic assists in improving focus and regulating behavior through personalized activities. The software is to create a flexible environment tailored to the child’s needs. This software and its proposed usage procedure are the results of the "Application of VRapeutic Virtual Reality Software to Enhance Cognitive Abilities of Children with ADHD in Vietnam" project, conducted since 2021 in collaboration with UNICEF, the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences, and the software’s founding experts. The research results highlight the strengths and limitations of the VRapeutic application in supporting students with ADHD. The article aims to propose a process for using the software, from the design and development stages to software testing, to eventually promote its adoption in the network of Support and Development Centers for Inclusive Education and specialized facilities for students with ADHD.
