ASSESSING THE MANAGEMENT OF TEACHING COMPETENCE TRAINING FOR LECTURERS AT HANOI POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE
Abstract
In response to the growing demand for skilled labor, vocational training institutions must prioritize enhancing the teaching competence of their faculty. This study assesses the management of teaching competence training activities at Hanoi Polytechnic College through surveys involving 173 participants and interviews with 16 individuals. The research explores key management functions, evaluates current practices, and identifies challenges. Findings highlight both achievements and limitations, offering recommendations for improving training management to develop a highly competent teaching staff. The results are important to help Hanoi Polytechnic College and similar vocational training institutions seeking to enhance lecturer capacity and support the development of highquality human resources.
