Abstract
The 2018 General Education Curriculum emphasizes a shift from knowledge transmission to the development of learners’ qualities and competencies. Among these, critical and creative thinking are central, particularly in Literature education. This article investigates the integration of digital technology in literature teaching to foster critical and creative thinking for high school students. Digital tools, particularly artificial intelligence and online learning tools, can create flexible learning environments that support students’ active engagement with texts and encourage critical analysis and creative interpretation. However, the effective integration of technology requires pedagogical approaches that thoughtfully combine digital tools with established instructional practices. This study highlights the pedagogical value of such integration in enhancing teaching effectiveness and supporting the development of students' critical and creative capacities in contemporary educational contexts.
