Abstract

Developing critical thinking for learners is the trend of modern education in the world. In Vietnamese education, critical thinking development is one of the useful methods to develop students’ competences. This paper aims to present constructing problematic situations in teaching reading comprehension to develop critical thinking for high school students. It not only shows the effectiveness in innovating teaching methods but also meets the requirements about teaching methods and objectives of Literature in new curriculum today.
