The approaches and the relation between Living value education & Life skill education for school students

Abstract
The article provides an overview of Living value education & Life skill education approaches for pupilsand analyses the relationship between Living value education & Life skill education for pupils in some existing Living value education & Life skill education program in Vietnamese schools. There are different approaches of Living value education & Life skill education: the approach to separate between Living value education & Life skill education, the approach to educate Living values based on Life skill education or educate Life skills based on Living value education, and the approach to integrate both Living value education & Life skill education at the same time. In any case, Living value education & Life skill education are never separated, they always have a close relationship. Living value education is the root, a basis for educating life skills. Life skills education is a way to actualize the knowledge and living values that students have learned, experienced and accumulated. The paper also proposes some ideas on integrating Living value education & Life skill education in the current Vietnamese context.
