Knowledge competency approaches in organizations, orientation of application to the banking field
Abstract
The organizational performance depends very much on the ability to exploit, promote and converse knowledge resources into the operational resources of the organization to enhance its competitiveness and sustainable development. There are many competency approaches building for the development of knowledge in the organization but so far there is no agreement on the choice of approach. The research was conducted with the aim of synthesizing, analyzing and comparing three basic approaches proposed by researchers previously, including: Work-oriented approach, Worker-oriented approach, and Multi-dimensional approach. Analytical and comparative methods are used to detect the strengths and weaknesses of competency approaches. Besides, a practical application in the banking field is implemented, fully applying the methods and tools of the Multi-demensional approach.
