Abstract

Sand lizard (Leiolepis belliana) is renowned for its parthenogenetic reproduction and high nutritional value. This study aims to determine the formula and feed components to standardize the breeding process of sand lizard and enhance its digestibility and nutrient absorption. The diet was arranged to include green vegetables (RX) (such as water spinach and sweet potato leaves), pumpkin (BD), black soldier fly larvae (RLD), supplemented with pellet feed (CV) to ensure adequate nutrients for the sand lizard. The formula with a ratio of 6:4:1:1 (RX: BD: RLD: CV) proved to be the most effective, resulting in a growth rate of 29.23% compared to the initial body weight of sand lizard. After 120 days of experiment, sand lizard achieved an average length of 36.542 cm and a weight of 93.83 g. The results indicate that adjusting the feed components in the correct ratios is crucial for promoting the development of sand lizard.
