Abstract
The omnipresent global reach of the Internet, coupled with the rapid proliferation and sophistication of technological software, has fundamentally revolutionized both the content and the pedagogical modalities of education. This paradigm shift has enabled ubiquitous learning opportunities, transcending traditional temporal and spatial constraints, thereby empowering learners with significantly enhanced ease of access to collaborative interactions, peer-to-peer exchanges, and comprehensive informational resources. In parallel with conventional face-to-face instruction, online learning has emerged as an indispensable pedagogical model, precisely tailored to address the evolving educational exigencies of the digital epoch. Diverse online learning paradigms, such as e learning, blended learning, and mobile learning, have garnered widespread adoption and implementation across a wide array of global contexts, not least in Viet Nam. Nevertheless, ensuring robust quality assurance within the realm of online education remains an issue of paramount importance and presents a formidable challenge for educational institutions and their respective stakeholders. Consequently, the strategic development and refinement of online instructional methodologies aimed at safeguarding didactic excellence within educational establishments represent a judicious and timely response to the current educational landscape. This article explores fundamental E-learning concepts, examines various models and key components, and analyzes the current state of online education globally and in Viet Nam. It then investigates emerging trends in online training and quality assurance. leading to recommendations for enhancing and promoting online training quality within educational institutions
