Abstract

In the context of Education 4.0, psychology as a discipline is facing increasing demands to renew its training programs to meet 21st -century competency requirements and adapt to the dynamics of the labor market. This study aims to analyze the theoretical and practical foundations for designing and innovating the Psychology curriculum toward integration and sustainable development. The research employs document analysis and comparative review of existing curricula, while adopting the WINCER model (Work Integrated – Industry Relevant – Community Engaged – Research Driven) as a framework to guide the integration of teaching, research, and community engagement. These findings clarify key directions for curriculum innovation: integrating digital technology, soft skills, and experiential learning; aligning learning outcomes with professional standards; and strengthening community-based learning activities that bridge theory and practice. The WINCER model contributes to enhancing the program’s practical orientation, applicability, and students’ capacity for social engagement. The novelty of this study lies in proposing an integrated development framework for Psychology education that links training, research, and community service, in alignment with Nguyen Tat Thanh University’s educational philosophy: “Authentic Learning ̶Practice ̶Recognition ̶Profession”. This approach highlights the university’s commitment to quality, integration, and sustainable growth in higher educatio.
