The communist Party’s viewpoints of marine economic development in the renewal period

Abstract

    Marine economy, a part of the national economy, has made important contributions to the national economic development strategy. This has been mentioned by the Communist Party of Vietnam in many of its congresses. To systematically generalize the Party's viewpoint on marine economic development during the renewal period, the author pointed out the Party's stance on marine economic development through the Congresses from 1986 up to now. On that basis, the article raises some solutions for sustainable development of marine economy in Vietnam during the period of industrialization, modernization and the current international integration
