Abstract

The experiment and document survey focuses on Vietnamese religion left by Forefathers for young generation. Vietnamese religion was connected to Vietnamese history, consisted of catechism: worship of Heaven; worship of ancestors and loving people. More than 90% of Vietnameses people follow Vietnamese religion. Throughout some Vietnamese literature and “folklore” via folksongs, proverbs, fairy tales, sayings and so on, our ancestors taught us ethics, philosophy, and moral code/principles deeply and meaningfully from generation to generation. However, Vietnamese religion needs to be enlivened in order to further develop and improve in the future.
