Evaluating the impact of attitudes on entrepreneurship education in university on entrepreneur intentions of pharmacy students

Abstract

    The study was conducted to measure the entrepreneurial intentions of pharmacy students. The research objective is to evaluate the behavioral, perceived and cognitive factors of students towards entrepreneurship education. The model is built on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and inherits from previous researcher's models. The results of 400 surveys, via PLS-SEM analysis, show the factors with strongest effects on business intention, that family background has a positive relationship with attitude towards education, and that business environment affects business intention of students. The study discusses the results of the analysis, and proposes the contributions obtained from the research results. The results propose educational solutions to stimulate entrepreneurship spirit for pharmacy students.
