Commercial arbitration in the process of renovation and digital transformation in Viet Nam

Abstract

The method of resolving economic–commercial disputes through arbitration  ̶  one of the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms  ̶  has been increasingly emphasized in Viet Nam’s development process. In the current context of digital transformation, it needs to be further renewed and improved. Summarizing the practical experience of commercial arbitration institutions throughout their historical formation and development in Viet Nam, including both achievements and existing issues in the digital transformation era, is necessary and meaningful for the continued improvement of the legal framework for commercial arbitration in the present period.
