Research on integrating creative thinking methods and tools to improve the efficiency of architectural design process
Abstract
The study aims to identify creative thinking methods and tools integrated into the architectural design process to improve problem-solving ability and promote innovation. The study conducts a theoretical overview of domestic and foreign documents related to the architectural design process, thinking methods and creative tools. Then, observe and record the existing architectural design process and compare with creative processes, then propose improvements to the design process. The results show that the architectural design process integrates creative thinking methods and tools, including 6 main stages: 1- Data research and analysis stage, 2- Core problem identification stage and design requirements stage, 3- Creative solution proposal stage, 4- Visualization stage, 5- Testing stage; 6- Application of testing results to develop real products. The results have identified that creative thinking methods and tools are suitable for each stage of architectural design to help the design process improve creativity.
