Abstract

This study explored the current state of digital transformation in education among high schools in the Mekong Delta region. Surveys were conducted among 45 teachers from six high schools across Can Tho, Soc Trang, and Ca Mau provinces. The findings reveal that teachers have sound knowledge of digital transformation and primarily apply it in online teaching and student management. Digital transformation tools such as Google Meet, Zalo, Azota are frequently used. Despite the positive reception and widespread adoption of digital transformation in these schools, challenges remain, particularly in implementing advanced teaching methods like flipped classrooms and expert-led sessions. The study highlights the need for further research to uncover underlying reasons behind these challenges and suggests targeted professional development for teachers to fully leverage digital tools in education.
