Abstract
In recent years, the teaching staff at secondary schools in Vị Thanh City, Hậu Giang Province, has made significant progress in professional skills and expertise, contributing to the improvement of teaching and learning quality. However, some limitations still exist. In several schools, the development of the teaching staff faces challenges, such as a shortage of teachers in new subjects, ineffective recruitment processes, and unattractive remuneration policies. This article aims to provide practical evidence for policy planning and improvement, thereby creating sustainable motivation for teacher development in the locality. The survey results will serve as a basis for proposing solutions to develop the teaching staff at secondary schools, contributing to enhancing educational quality in this area. Furthermore, the research emphasizes the need for more in-depth surveys to thoroughly address the stated limitations.
