Media frames of the One Commune One Product Program (OCOP) in Nong thon Ngay nay News based on development journalism theory

Abstract
The study provides an overview of the development journalism theory as well as the features of this prevalent type of journalism in Asian nations. Accordingly, the study analysed 543 articles regarding the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program published in Nong Thon Ngay Nay News over the 2021 – 2023 periods to identify the major media frames. Research results show that media frames of the OCOP Program perform many important functions of journalism, demonstrating the characteristics of developed journalism at different levels. The study findings serve as a resource for in-depth research on developed journalism in Vietnam as well as the practice of journalists choosing media frames when reporting on the OCOP Program.
