Color metaphor of emotion in Tran Dang Khoa’s poetry

Abstract
The article applies cognitive linguistics theory to study emotional color source domains in Tran Dang Khoa's poetry. Light colors like red, pink, and blue represent positive/happy emotions, while dark colors like black and gray represent negative emotions. The cognitive linguistics approaching Tran Dang Khoa's works will help readers feel and understand more deeply about the aesthetic signals and ideological values conveyed by the writer through the poems.
