Promoting the role of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in the prevention and combat of the strategy of “Peaceful evolution” in Vietnam now

Abstract

Currently, the primary method employed by hostile forces to implement the “Peaceful evolution” strategy in Vietnam is through cyberspace. Therefore, the most susceptible target of this scheme is the younger generation, as they are the most active demographic in the online space. This article utilizes content analysis methodology using secondary data sources from both domestic and international contexts. The research findings will clarify the role and responsibilities of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, which represents the youth of Vietnam, in countering the “Peaceful evolution” in the country. Consequently, the article proposes several solutions to leverage the role of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in the upcoming efforts to prevent and counter “Peaceful evolution”.
