Abstract

Comparative literature has been a promising field of study. This article is to apply the comparative literature theory to specifically investigate similarities and differences between the expressions of love from two different cultures and literature. With "Chi Pheo" and "Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris", Nam Cao and Victor hugo have made many new discoveries about the power of love for people at the bottom of society.
