The artistic image of traveler in relationship with nature through Sinitic poetry by Nguyen De
Abstract
Nguyen De is not only known as the pioneer who brought glory to the tradition of envoys of the Nguyen Tien Dien family, but also a poet with a large number of works on the topic of envoys during the Tay Son period. Taking on many important responsibilities in the royal cabinet, he soon associated his life with the wandering life of a traveler. On the journey of thousands of miles, nature is a common subject and has a strong impact on the mood of the traveler in his Sinitic poetry. However, studies on the relationship between the image of the traveler in his work and nature have not been specifically and systematically exploited. Using the methods of poetics, analysis - synthesis, interdisciplinary literature, culture and system research, the article exploits the feelings of the traveler through this work when placed in relation to nature. The research results show that when facing nature, the mood and consciousness of the traveler in poetry are expressed by three characteristics: (1). Passion and excitement before beautiful, romantic nature - (2). Sadness and feeling of being lost before dark, obscure nature - (3). The act of giving up the need to enjoy the aesthetics of nature. From there, this study contributes to clarifying the poetic talent as well as the passionate but also sad and lonely inner life of Nguyen De in a foreign land.
