Abstract

The new K-12 education program is built on the model of developing students' qualities and competencies. Educational contents and methods are aimed to help students fulfill assignments, and solve problems in learning and daily life by effectively and creatively applying acquired knowledge. The paper outlines the fundamental changes in the curriculum of Natural-Social Subject, Science, History, and Geography in primary education compared to that of the content-based.
