FROM THE REALITIES TO PROPOSED SOLUTIONS TO IMPROVE ETHNIC CHILDREN’S DROWNING PREVENTION SKILLS IN GIA LAI PROVINCE

Abstract

The recent drowning in Gia Lai province is painfully problematic to all parents, students, and the whole society in the summer and rainy seasons. The number of drowning cases for children in Gia Lai province ranks second (after traffic accidents) with the highest rate of deaths in the injury accident records. On social surveys, the article clarifies the realities of childen drowning in Gia Lai province, and objectively assesses pertinent causes. On that basis, it proposes appropriate solutions contributing to minimize drowning accidents in Gia Lai province.
