Abstract
The article focuses on describing and analyzing the identifiers of the class names indicating fish and shrimps in the Mekong River Delta. Through statistics, description and analysis, this article pinpoints the identifiers of this word class. On that basis, the article outlines the linguistic and cultural features expressed through the basis and the structure of naming fish in the Mekong Delta, contributing to clarifying some cultural features - the language of the fishermen here.
