Statistical analysis on student reading practice at the College of Natural Sciences, Can Tho University
Abstract
Upon the survey at the College of Natural Sciences, Can Tho University and univariate and multivariate statistical analysis, the article has identified the factors and groups of factors impacting students reading books, as well as correlations between the learning results and time for reading of students at the College of Natural Sciences, Can Tho University. Based on statistical classification methods, the article also builds a suitable model to classify students’ learning ability through information about students’ reading time. The research results are useful information for the College of Natural Sciences as well as Can Tho University to promote student reading. The method in this study can be applied to other institutions and practical issues.
