Learning motivation of Fine Arts students in Dong Thap University

Abstract

The more inner learning motivation students have, the better academic-achievements they will get. Learning motivation plays an essential role in developing students' professional qualities and competencies. This article systematizes the theoretical background on students' learning motivation and clarifies the current status of learning motivation among students majoring in Fine Arts in Dong Thap University in terms of an awareness of learning motivation, types, expressions, and factors affecting learning motivation. Finally, the article presents the theoretical and practical arguments as the background for proposing five effective measures to create learning motivation for students majoring in Fine Arts in Dong Thap University.
