ACTUAL SITUATION AND SOLUTIONS ON EDUCATION ON PREVENTING AND FIGHTING “PEACEFUL AFFAIRS” FOR STUDENTS OF DONG THAP UNIVERSITY THROUGH NATIONAL DEFENSE AND SECURITY COURSE
Abstract
Currently, teaching national defense and security to students, particularly students of Dong Thap University, significantly contributes to the comprehensive education. Especially, education on preventing and fighting “Peaceful affairs” for students is an urgent task in the face of conspiracies and tricks of hostile forces against the Vietnamese Revolution, which are increasingly sophisticated and modern. The research aimed to evaluate the current content, program and awareness of students through National Defense and Security Course. On that basis, solutions are suggested to improve the effectiveness of education on preventing, fighting and defeating the sabotage plots of hostile forces. Thereby, it helps students promote their roles, awareness and responsibility in protecting the Fatherland of Socialist Vietnam in the new situation.
