Abstract

The article clarifies the current situation, thereby proposing solutions to improve the effectiveness of applying the revolutionary ideal education model for students at Dong Thap University. To do this, we used various methods such as analysis and synthesis, deduction and induction, systematization, and sociological investigation as well. The survey results clearly show that revolutionary ideals play an important role in forming students’ worldview and revolutionary outlook on life. Educating students about revolutionary ideals can be done through many different models. The current revolutionary ideal education model for students at Dong Thap University has both advantages and limitations. That is why some students lack ideals of revolution, showing signs of reduced confidence in the Party's leadership role, moving away from the nation's fine cultural traditions. Therefore, we offer solutions helping overcome limitations, thereby improving the effectiveness of applying the revolutionary ideal education model for Dong Thap University students, positively strengthening confidence and arousing students' desire to contribute to the revolutionary cause of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
