LEARNING MOTIVATION AND ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF ACCOUNTING STUDENTS IN THE CONTEXT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY APPLICATION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS - UNIVERSITY OF DANANG
Abstract
This paper examines the impact of learning motivation on academic performance in the context of information technology application among Accounting students at the University of Economics, The University of Danang. The research findings indicate that students with high learning motivation tend to achieve better academic performance, regardless of whether they perceive technology as valuable for learning Accounting. The study can assist the university's Board of Rectors and
management team in recognizing the extent to which learning motivation influences academic performance in the current context of IT application. Based on these insights, institutional leaders can identify policies appropriate to the university’s conditions to improve students’ academic outcomes, while also providing learners with more suitable learning approaches tailored to their individual circumstances, thereby encouraging higher learning motivation.
