Digital transformation in English language teaching at universities: challenges and solutions.

Abstract

In the context of rapid digital transformation in higher education, English language teaching at universities is facing new opportunities as well as significant challenges. This article analyzes the current state of digital transformation in English language teaching, identifies major challenges related to human resources, technological infrastructure, and management, and proposes solutions to promote sustainable implementation. The study reviews the theoretical foundations of digital transformation in English language teaching and examines practical implementation at several Vietnamese universities. Based on this analysis, it highlights key challenges and offers specific recommendations to support policy formulation and pedagogical innovation in the digitalization of higher education.
