Some provisions on the conclusion of labor contracts under the 2019 Labor Code
Abstract
The conclusion of labor contracts is an essential need for both employees and employers when establishing labor relations, serving as the basis and foundation to protect the legal rights and intFerests of the parties involved. The 2019 Labor Code has amended and supplemented several new provisions related to the conclusion of labor contracts to promote labor relationships in a balanced, harmonious, stable, and progressive manner. This article discusses some relevant provisions when parties conclude labor contracts, such as the principles of concluding labor contracts, the obligation to provide information when concluding labor contracts, and the actions that employers are not allowed to take when concluding or implementing labor contracts. Accordingly, the author provides some suggestions to improve the current labor law in Vietnam.
