Applying flipped classroom model in teaching Organic Chemistry in grade 11 to develop the self-study capacity of students at high schools

Abstract

Today, along with the explosive development of information and communication technology, many new teaching models have emerged besides the traditional face-to-face teaching model, typical of which are blended learning models. The flipped classroom is one of the blended learning models and has advantages in developing students' self-study capacity. This article presents the results of applying the flipped classroom model according to a specific process towards the goal of developing self-study capacity for students in the Organic Chemistry of grade 11. The experimental data obtained have shown the feasibility and positive effect of applying this model in teaching at high schools, meeting the requirements of current educational innovation
