Tóm tắt
The Fe₃[Fe(CN)₆]₂/g-C₃N₄ composite, in which Fe₃[Fe(CN)₆]₂ nanoparticles were dispersed on g-C₃N₄,
was synthesized via a simple co-precipitation method using K₃[Fe(CN)₆] and FeSO₄ as precursors in the
presence of g-C₃N₄ at 90 °C for 1 hour. The composition, morphology, and optical properties of the
photocatalysts were investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared spectroscopy (IR), scanning
electron microscopy with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDS), UV-Vis diffuse reflectance
spectroscopy (UV-Vis DRS), and Photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy. The photocatalytic activity of the
composite was evaluated by the degradation of methylene blue (MB) in aqueous solution under sunlight
irradiation. The results demonstrated that the Fe₃[Fe(CN)₆]₂/g-C₃N₄ composite exhibited superior
photocatalytic performance compared with the individual components g-C₃N₄ and Fe₃[Fe(CN)₆]₂, due to a
synergistic effect between the two materials.
