Abstract

This paper focus on the adsorption of Fe(III), Cr(VI) in aqueous solution on modified laterite by apatite ore additional cerium. Some physicochemistry properties of the material have been determined by SEM, XRD, IR and BET method. The result indicates that, Ca(II), Al(III), NO3- and Cl- ions in research solution reduce Fe(III) and Cr(VI) adsorption capacity of the material. The solution of 0.01M EDTA was used for elution. The real of adsorption capacity for each metal was found as 10.49mg/g (Fe) and 3.89mg/g (Cr), respectively. It could be enriched and determined using modified laterite by apatite ore as SPE column. Concentration of Fe(III), Cr(VI) in waste water sample was analyzed by using SPE and UV-Vis.
