RESEARCH TO DETERMINE THE AMOUNT OF VITAMINS B1 AND B6 IN LARGE FUNGUS FROM NORTH CENTRAL REGION OF VIETNAM BY HIGH PERFORMANCE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY (HPLC)

Abstract

    Measured parameters and optimum conditions to determine the content of vitamins B1 and B6were researched including wavelength, flow rate and mobile phase. The linear range wasfrom 0.5-5.0 ppm with B1 and was from 1.0- 5.0ppm with B6.The amount of vitamin B1 andB6 in large fungus has been determined by HPLC using the calibration curve. The detectionlimits for B1 and B6 obtained were 0.069ppm and 0.13ppm; the quantification limits for B1and B6 were 0.232 ppm and 0.42 ppm, respectively. The relative standard deviations for thedetermination of three levels of concentration of the standard solution were less than 1%,whereas the relative standard deviations for the determination of sample were less than2.5%.The recovery of vitamins B1 and B6 was 82.3% and 83.3%, respectively.
