Abstract
The grafing process of acrylic acid on the chitin surface extracted from shrimp shell after treatment by cold plasma was enhanced the adsorption ability of Pb2+ ions. The adsorption process of modified chitin for Pb2+ ions followed the Freundlich isotherm model. The maximum adsorption capacity was found to be 64,1 mg/g at pH 5 and 90 min contact time.
