FACTORS AFFECTING THE STUDYING MOTIVATION OF UNIVERSAL STUDENTS: A STUDY AT VAN LANG UNIVERSITY

Abstract

Improving students' learning motivation is an issue that many universities are interested in today. Many studies have been carried out to determine the factors that affect students' learning motivation. However, learning motivation is a complex concept that comes from each student and depends on many different factors. Therefore, learning dynamics are always changing, and the influencing factors are also changing depending on other research cases. This study was conducted to determine the factors affecting the learning motivation of students at Van Lang University. By methods of evaluating the reliability of Cronbach's Alpha scale, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), multiple regression analysis with a sample of 396 Van Lang students, the research results showed that the quality of lecturers, Academic events, training management, student affairs, movement activities and training programs all had a positive impact on the learning motivation of students at Van Lang University. Therefore, to improve students' learning motivation, Van Lang University needs to improve student satisfaction with these factors.
