Library - faculty cooperation: Foundation for the improvement of learning and teaching quality in universities

Abstract

       Building the cooperation between libraries and faculties is one of the key factors for improving the quality of learning and teaching. The article introduces the term "liaison librarian" and their role in the library - faculty cooperation. It also analyses the benefits of this cooperation, including: the improvement of learning quality; teaching quality; the reputation of the library. Finally, the article analyzes some of the library - faculty cooperation activities.
