Library management: An approach based on Resource Dependence Theory

Abstract

      Analyzes the state-of-the art of Vietnamese academic library resources based on resource dependence theory; presents the strategy and actions of academic libraries for strengthening resources on basis of  analyzing data, which were collected from paper sources and interviews at 7 academic libraries in Ho Chi Minh City; insists on the importance of applying resource dependence theory in organization and management of academic libraries.
