Developing reading skills and approaches for readers in information-library agencies

Abstract

    Today, radio, television, and mobile phones have replaced most of the functions of books and newspapers as information technology has developed rapidly. Therefore, reading books is decreasing day by day, this is one of the main reasons affecting the development of reading culture in the community as well as towards building a learning society in our country today. With a reader-centered concept, the library-information agency needs to let readers understand the benefits of reading. At the same time, there is a separate policy on skill development, effective approaches to reading for readers, research on reading needs, interests, reading trends, and always focusing on building images and employees friendly and dynamic library to join hands to build a reading culture in the community, towards building a learning society in the context of integration and development.
