Digital transformation of higher education: Developing a digital data model for pharmacy students at Nguyen Tat Thanh University

Abstract

   The digital age has posed a vital challenge to all universities. This article discusses the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation in higher education, especially in the field of Pharmacy education in Viet Nam. Based on the concept of education supply chain and digitalization to support universities in training human resources to participate in the global education supply chain, the study analyzed and surveyed personnel working at the Faculty of Pharmacy – Nguyen Tat Thanh University, developed a digital data model, and identified the priority factors in Pharmacy education information management. The results contribute to the digital data development strategy, thus supporting training institutions. Findings from the present study contribute to help training institutions build suitable strategies for digital data for the digital transformation goals of each stage of the training unit in the university.
