Strengthening cooperation in human resource training between enterprises and Faculty of Tourism and Vietnamese Studies of Nguyen Tat Thanh University

Abstract

     The close cooperative relationship between the universities and the businesses is an important foundation for the development of both sides. This article surveys the reality of the connection between Faculty of Tourism and Vietnamese Studies, Nguyen Tat Thanh University and tourism, hotel and restaurant businesses in training human resources. This was based on secondary data that was proclaimed officially, and some additional studies on the connection between universities and businesses in training human resources. At same time, primary data was synthesized from in-depth interviews to respondents in order to catch up with the forms and content of some main connections implemented by the Faculty and businesses. And because of that, some suitable solutions to strengthen the Faculty and businesses linkage are proposed to enhance the quality of human resources of tourism, hotel and restaurant to serve businesses and the society in the current situation.
