Abstract

The strange birth motif in Pham Nhan legend is a plot opening motif, evoking the life and behavior of the character. The legend of Pham Nhan can be categorized as the legend of the evil God, so the plot characteristics are different from those of the holy Gods. A strangely born motif predicts an extraordinary life, unusual behaviors of the evil god Pham Nhan.
