STUDY ON ORIGINAL SOURCES IN HAI PHONG

Abstract

Hai Phong was a strategic land during the war against the South Han army on Bach Dang river in 938 under the command of Ngo Quyen. The people of Hai Phong have built many temples, shrines, temples and communal houses to worship and organize festivals to commemorate his merits. That stems from the custom of worshiping national heroes, gratitude to people who have made great merits to the country as well as the pride of the people of the land that are attached to a part of Ngo Quyen's life.
