Về quy mô hành cung thời Trần
Tóm tắt
Historical records from the Trần Dynasty mention several temporary palaces, including Tức Mặc, Vũ Lâm, Long Hưng in Lỗ Giang, Gia Lâm, and Thiên Kiện. Among these, notable palaces such as
Thiên Trường (also known as Tức Mặc, in Nam Định), Vũ Lâm (Ninh Bình), and Long Hưng (also known as Lỗ Giang - Thái Bình) stand out. These important temporary palaces served not only as
political centers associated with the residences and retreats of emperor emeritus and reigning kings but also as major Buddhist centers. At the same time, they occupied strategic positions and served as sources of manpower and resources during the resistance wars against the Mongol-Yuan invasions. Based on classical texts and archaeological research and excavations, it can be preliminarily assessed that the scale of Trần dynasty temporary palaces was quite grand. These temporary palaces functioned simultaneously as political and military command centers and as Buddhist sanctuaries.
