Abstract

This paper studied the possibility of reusing plastic powder waste from the drilling, cutting in printed circuit boads to make concrete bricks used in construction and compare them with other product groups of the same type according to Vietnamese standards. The initial results showed that using the stabilization and solidification method, the solidificated products were almost well-suited for the Cu leakage allowed by TCLP method, high compressive strength at ratio cement:waste was 70:30 with standard water:cement ratio of 55:100. Bricks made from powder plastic waste met the environmental requirements of Cu leakage analysis, compressive strength and design in accordance with TCVN 6477:2011 regarding compressive strength required more than 5 Mpa and water absorption rate of less than 14%.
