The results showed that the bulb’s diameter was greater than 6 cm which was suitable for the flowering. The rate of leaf development corresponded to the growth process of plants and the average leaf lengths ranged from 59.40 to 74.56 cm. The results investigated that the dried bulbs had a significant effect on flowering time and and flower development, which found the longer the drying period of bulbs and thus produced flowers sooner. The thickness, length, and width of petals of Hippeastrum equestre Herb ranged from 0.079 to 0.084 cm, 10.55 to 11.62 cm and 6.48 to 7.12 cm, respectively.
