High-tech application model based on coffee value chain: A case study of Quyet Tien Agricultural and Service cooperative, Dak Lak province

Abstract

High-tech application model based on the coffee value chain in Quyet Tien Agricultural and Services cooperatives is a successful deployment model: application of new varieties in coffee replanting; application of commercial irrigation technology combined with fertilizing through irrigation systems; application of wet coffee processing technology (specialty coffee) and certified production; application of microbiological technology to produce organic fertilizer from cattle and poultry manure and agricultural by-products for sustainable farming; application of information technology in production chain management and product traceability. On this basis, the article refers to a high-tech application model based on the coffee value chain in Quyet Tien Agricultural cooperatives and services from the following dimensions: i) Concept and profile of the model Quyet Tien Agricultural cooperatives and services; ii) Actual situation of high -tech application
in coffee production of Quyet Tien Agricultural and Services cooperatives; iii) Some limitations of the model; iv) Conclusions and recommendations.
